Set of 2 ceramic sardines, one entirely turquoise blue and the other striped blue and white.
These sardines can be placed anywhere in the house and immediately evoke Portugal. They can be placed together on a piece of furniture thanks to their flat belly, or they can be fixed to the wall thanks to their ventral hole. They are also widely used on the table, as a decorative item or as a cutlery rest.
These pieces come from a traditional ceramic workshop located near Caldas da Rainha, in central Portugal, the ancestral home of Portuguese ceramics. All pieces are entirely made and then hand-painted there with methods and attention to detail that are rarely found anymore.
